Men's Ministry

Who are we?
We are Zion Church’s men’s ministry.

Man2Man is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of being better husbands, fathers and sons.  “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)

We see Man 2 Man as an environment where God’s men feel comfortable discussing and engaging with other men regarding life concerns and temptations.  Further, they attempt to address the concerns in a Godly and practical manner, while encouraged by the support of other brothers who can identify with life situations that confront men.

What do we do?
Every third Friday of the month meet at Zion Church for food, fun and fellowship as we attempt to learn more about God’s plan for our lives.  This forum allows men of all ages to come and participate in an environment conducive to helping us make the necessary changes to be better husbands, fathers, and sons.  We have men who present on various topics selected based on the body’s needs.  We often have a question and answer sessions, as well as light refreshments.

When and where do we meet?
Man2Man sessions are held every third Friday from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Zion Church Sanctuary, 1450 Mercantile Lane, Suite 247, Largo, Maryland 20774.

Why do we exist?
Man2Man exists to help fulfill the church purpose of bringing relevant church to America, reaching the lost, building real community and developing relentless followers of Jesus Christ:

  • Fellowship
  • Encourage commitment to marriage
  • Date your spouse
  • Encourage more engagement and interaction between men and their children
  • Honor Parents
  • Identify challenges in our lives and learn principles to address them
  • Break the cycle of misery, frustration and neglect in the family
  • Unity is created to fight the enemy of isolation (isolation leads to secrecy, secrecy leads to a sick character, and a sick character or conduct leads to sin)
