At Zion Church Bowie (ZCB), we feel that it’s OUR responsibility to remove many of the obstacles that would keep you from coming to church. We want you to be able to experience the great contemporary music, encouraging practical messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of ZCB.
Clothing
We are more interested in getting to know you than what you are wearing, so dress comfortably. Casual dress is most common at ZCB.

Anonymity - Acknowledging Guests
We are excited that you chose to check us out, but we will NOT ask you to stand or say anything when we acknowledge you. We just ask that you complete our first-time guest card (titled "Connect") and accept our gift box.
Offering
As our guest we ask that you hold your money, this meal (spiritual food) is on us. We don't expect to get anything from you but we expect that you will get plenty.
Uniqueness
Being located in a movie theater and being served coffee and donuts that may be taken with you into the worship service are unique for most people visiting a church.
Walk thru
You will see large ground signs directing you to the parking lot.
When you pull into the parking lot, you will notice that we are in a movie theater.
You will first notice our welcoming team (greeters) with warm smiles offering a "welcome to Zion Church."
If you have children from 3 years of age to 6th grade you will be informed about "Xtreme," our children's church.
Next you will be directed towards our refreshment area. There you will find donuts, coffee (regular and decaf), a variety of teas and condiments.
As you enter the theater you will be greeted and given a program for note-taking and informing you of opportunities to connect with us again in several ways.
Our services are "fat-free", you can expect an opening (skits, videos, prop, or a question to ponder) to introduce a message that will help you to have a better life, welcoming of guests, offering, and in 80 minutes you have had a complete Sunday experience.
As you exit the worship area you will notice people engaging in conversation and consuming the remaining donuts and coffee. But whether you are engaging in conversation or heading for the door you will hear one of our team members say “thanks for coming.”
